WHITE RAGE

...

The USA is a divided nation - divided by race and by class.

And this suits the rich elite.

The elite's policy is 'Divide and Rule'.

1. Politicians need the votes of the poor, even if they despise the poor.

Thomas Jefferson referred to the poor as 'rubbish.'

Benjamin Franklin referred to Pennsylvania's poor as 'the refuse of America'.

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson both believed that the 'lower class of people' were fit only to be foot soldiers in the war of independence.

2. America has its elite - its feudal lords and robber barons.

It has also had its indentured servants.

Indentured servants paid for their passage to America by working for an employer for a fixed term of years.

About half of the white immigrants to the American colonies in the 17th and 18th centuries were indentured.

3. The American elite generally sees the poor whites as being permanently inferior and backward, like Blacks, or American Indians.

4. For a member of the elite to be elected as President, he, or she, has to pretent to love the poor whites, or poor Blacks.

Nancy Isenberg writes that Donald Trump is obsessed with pedigree.

Trump prefers people to be 'White' and of European origin.

He mixes with the elite of New York.

But he needs the votes of white trash to get elected.

5. Only 5% of southern whites owned slaves.

They were the rich elite who got the poor people to fight in defence of slavery.

6. Lyndon Baines Johnson said:

"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best coloured man, he won't notice you're picking his pockets.

"Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."

7. Professor Carol Anderson, author of White Rage, believes that the spirit of the Ku Klux Klan lives on.

She refers to the southern backlash that began when the civil war ended in 1865.

After 1865, the freed slaves were still treated like slaves.

8. Tamara Draut, author of Sleeping Giant, refers to 'the working class'.

44% of Americans define themselves as working-class.

It is the working class who require permission from their bosses to take a bathroom break.

At a Coca-Cola warehouse in Atlanta, there is "a modern-day plantation-style environment".

9. Harriet Beecher Stowe, author of Uncle Tom's Cabin, "depicted Whites as a degenerate class, prone to crime, immorality and ignorance."

Many poor Whites depict Blacks as being a degenerate class, prone to crime, immorality and ignorance.

10. The rich elite are happy to see that the poor are divided and easy to rule.

We need people like Clinton and Trump to keep us safe.

Webster Tarpley asks why so many people support Trump:

"How could Wall Street City Slickers dupe Southern, Western, and rural evangelicals into voting for a party platform pledged to sacrifice the interests of the poor country folk in the name of the Mammon-worshippers of lower Manhattan?"

The answer is the Strategy of tension
