The police responded to Harrison's whistleblowing.

They broke down the door to his flat and removed many of his personal papers.

He was escorted from the school premises and interviewed by detectives.

The UK parliament's Hansard recorded a written response from QVS headmaster Julian Hankinson to say that police had "concluded there was no cause for further action on their part".

In November 1996, Harrison wrote to The Shetland Times to say: "I believe that, had my allegations in 1991 been properly investigated, there is a strong possibility that Hamilton would have been discovered."

QVS is open to children of those who have served or are serving in the Army, Navy or RAF.

Waters was appointed superintendent of the Sea Cadet training centre in Portsmouth in 1996.

The Sea Cadets confirmed that it was aware "that a report was made by a Sea Cadet officer who had concerns about Waters" in the early 1980s but said that allegations had "not been substantiated".



In 2006, Jersey Police, in the UK, were investigating child abuse by 'carers'.

The commanding officer of the Jersey Sea Cadets was arrested for downloading pornographic images including some involving sea cadets.

According to Donovan:

1. Neave sought to clean up the corruption within the security services.

2. Neave was killed by a bomb. 

Gerald James, former chief of the armaments firm Astra Holdings, wrote that the mercury switch on the bomb was only available to the CIA at the time.

3. Enoch Powell claimed that the CIA wanted a united Ireland within NATO.

UK politician Tony Benn records in his diary (17 February 1981) that a journalist from the New Statesman, Duncan Campbell, told him that he had received information from an intelligence agent two years previously that Neave had planned to have Benn assassinated, if there was a possibility that Benn might be elected Labour Party Leader.

The New Statesman printed the story on 20 February 1981, naming the agent as Lee Tracey.

Tracey claimed to have met Neave and was asked to join a team of intelligence and security specialists which would "make sure Benn was stopped". 

Tracey planned a second meeting with Neave but Neave was killed before they could meet again.[8]

Kevin Cahill, an Irish investigative journalist, claims Neave was on the verge of a massive overhaul of the security services, possibly involving a merger of MI5 and MI6 and arising from his belief in corruption in the security services.

Cahill suggests a link between Neave's murder and Sir Richard Sykes' murder and the attempted murder of Christopher Tugendhat in December 1980.

Cahill claims that Neave would have been head of the combined security services with Sykes and Tugendhat as his deputies, with Sykes responsible for foreign operations and Tugendhat responsible for home operations.

Cahill concluded that Neave was murdered by MI6 agents working with the CIA because Neave sought to prosecute senior figures in the intelligence establishment for corruption.[9]

On 18 October 1986 Enoch Powell returned to the subject of Neave's death in a speech to Conservative students in Birmingham.

He told them that INLA had not killed Neave, but that he had been assassinated by "MI6 and their friends".

Powell claimed Neave's Northern Ireland policy had been one of integration with the rest of the UK.

His murder, alleged Powell, was intended to make the British Government adopt a policy more acceptable to America in her aim of a united Ireland within NATO.[11]

Reportedly, in the 1970s, several newspapers claimed that the former UK Prime Minister Ted Heath, who was reported to be gay, was a regular visitor to Kincora Boys Home.

According to the book Who Framed Colin Wallace? (Who Framed Colin Wallace) by Paul Foot:

1. Colin Wallace served in a special UK Ministry of Defence press unit in Northern Ireland which dealt in "psychological operations."

2. Wallace tried to alert the authorities about what was going on at Kincora.

3. In 1973 MI5 set up a propaganda campaign named Clockwork Orange.

The purpose of Clockwork Orange was to blackmail and control top political figures in Northern Ireland and Great Britain, including Harold Wilson and Edward Heath.



4. In October 1974, Wallace refused to take any further part in the Clockwork Orange operation.

He was sacked and he moved to England.

The husband of a friend and colleague was found dead.

Wallace was accused of murder and sentenced to ten years' imprisonment.

On 30 January 1990, UK Armed Forces Minister, Archie Hamilton admitted that several key allegations made by Colin Wallace were true.

1. Half of all the senior IRA members were working for the UK intelligence services

3. MI5 had a network of agents within the Garda, the Irish police force.



From 1982-1990, Ian Hurst (aka Martin Ingram) was in Londonderry handling agents like Frank Hegarty, an IRA quartermaster later murdered for betraying a cache of Libyan weapons.

The FRU was involved in the targeting of Irish Republicans for assassination by death squads.

The FRU may have been involved in the de Menezes killing.

2. In 1988, three Irish Republican Army (IRA) members were killed in Gibraltar by the SAS (UK special forces).

Reportedly, it was Mossad who had tracked the IRA men.

3. In 1972, John Wyman of MI6 recruited the Littlejohn brothers to carry out bank robberies and bomb attacks in the Republic of Ireland.

Wyman said to them that there was "going to be a policy of political assassination" for which they were to make themselves available.

Wyman gave the Littlejohns a list of IRA leaders to assassinate; these included Seamus Costello, Sean Qarland and Sean McStiofain.
