A top Conservative Party politician, Sir Peter Bottomley (top left above), has issued a denial that he visited the Elm Guest House boy brothel in London.

Sir Peter successfully sued The Mail on Sunday in 1989 after it printed a story about him. 

Today he said he would have no hesitation in doing so again if the rumours appear in print.

Sir Peter said of the alleged child abuse cover-up: "The idea that there could be an organised group that could stop things happening is, I think, imagination."
